The West Burlington-Notre Dame high school softball team split a pair of games with Mid-Prairie on Monday at the FunCity Turf.

The Falcons won the first game, 11-7, while the Golden Hawks earned a split with a 10-8 win in the nightcap.

In the opener, Orayana Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with a home run, scored two runs and drove in four for the Falcons.

Paige Kramer was 3-for-3, while Whitney Snowden had two hits, including a double, and scored twice. Lyndsey Kelley was 2-for-3 with a double, drove in two runs and scored a run, Madalynn Knapp doubled, drove in two runs and scored one and Tannisyn Christofferson went 3-for-3 with a home run, scored one run and drove in two.

Lacie Felkins, Laney Glendening, Faith Gibb and Chloee Anderson each scored a run for the Falcons.

In the nightcap, Knapp and Kelley each had a double.

Knapp was 2-for-3, scored a run and drove in two. Kelley also drove in two and scored once. Christofferson drove in two runs and Madelyn Thomas plated one run.

Gonzalez scored twice, while Snowden, Felkins, Glendening and Anderson each scored a run.
