Van Buren County senior shortstop Callie Kracht  helped the Warriors defeat Danville on Monday at Keosauqua.

KEOSAUQUA °®¶¹app” Addison Brauns fired a one-hit shutout to lead the Van Buren County High School softball team to a 4-0 win over Danville in a Class 2A regional first-round game at the Ferguson Sports Complex.

Van Buren County (9-12) advances to a regional quarterfinal game to face second-ranked Louisa-Muscatine (26-6) at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Louisa-Muscatine High School.

Danville ends the season with a 9-18 record.

Brauns walked one and struck out six in her seven innings of work.

Aida Troutman went 2-for-3, scored a run and drove in a run for the Warriors.

Kayley Snowden had a single and drove in two runs, while Ashlynn Huff also had an RBI.

Callie Kracht singled and scored a run, while Teagan Sickels and Ava Loeffler each scored a run.

Van Buren County did not commit an error in 23 total chances.
